PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
December 5, 2005
7:45 p.m.
SOUTH WINDSOR COUNCIL CHAMBERS
PURPOSE: To receive citizen input on an appropriation of $17,000 from the Capital and Non-Recurring Expenditure Account to fund the replacement of three (3) metal roofs at Police Headquarters on Sand Hill Road.
Mayor Streeter called the Public Hearing at 7:45 p.m.; and requested that the Clerk of the Council read the call of the meeting (a copy of which is attached hereto). There were approximately five (5) people present in audience.
Mayor Streeter asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak for or against this proposal. There was no one. Continuing, Mayor Streeter again stated that, as was the custom, he would now take a straw vote on the proposal.
All those in favor of the Council taking this
appropriation of $17,000 from Capital and
Non-Recurring Expenditure Account to fund
the replacement of three (3) metal roofs at Police
Headquarters on Sand Hill Road - 1
All those opposed - 0
The Public Hearing was closed at 7:50 p.m.
